I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Star and Garter. The comfortable room combined with a superb breakfast showcased local ingredients. The minor hiccup of our room not being ready upon arrival didn't overshadow the hospitable service from Jim and Julie, who truly enhanced our experience.

the location of the inn was amazin, really nice area and our room was spacious and comfy. food was excellent, breakfast hit the spot and the owner was super friendly and helpful. loved the vibe and the garden looks nice for summer. the staff made us feel right at home, we'd definitely come back for dinner next time!

Just had a fab stay for a Goodwood event! Jim and the crew made us feel right at home right from the start. The rooms were super clean and comfy. They can adapt to your needs. The food in the bar was delicious—seriously wanted to try more! Just wish they had more parking options nearby.

It did not affect my stay too badly, but it’s something to consider if you’re driving. this spot is a gem for food lovers and those looking for a cozy retreat.
